“The mission of the American Society of Highway Engineers is to provide a forum for members and partners of the highway industry to promote a safe, efficient and sustainable transportation system through education, innovation and fellowship.”
Since incorporating in 1958, ASHE has grown into an organization with over 6,000 members in 9 regions and over 40 operating sections.
The San Antonio Section will become Texas’ fourth chapter and provide additional highway industry support in the Southwest Region.
Announcement – 3/27/2025
The ASHE San Antonio Section is excited to announce our upcoming officer election! This will take place in-person during the General Member Meeting on May 20, 2025.
There are currently four positions open for election and the list of nominees is below. Additional nominations may be submitted by correspondence to Section Secretary Dawn Vernon until April 29.
Nominees must be existing Section members in good standing. Additional nominations must be signed by at least 10 percent of the Section membership. Additionally, prior to submitting a nomination, the nominee must have agreed to serve if elected.
